Spare Car Key

Every car should have at least one spare key besides the main one. If the key breaks or gets lost, a spare keeps you from being stranded.

How is a spare key made?

When we make a spare key, we copy the mechanical (metal) part of the key. On cars with a chip (immobilizer), the second step is to program the electronic part of the key to the car, so cutting the metal part alone is often not enough. If needed, we do the job where your car is, right next to it.

Old keys can be erased from the car

When needed, we erase the old keys from the car’s memory so that only the keys in your hand work with the car. This matters for your car’s security if one of your keys was lost or if there are keys you no longer have.
